En strømskinneanordning omfatter en profilert strømskinne (3) med et hammerhodespor (10) og med et bæresteg (14), samt en isolerende bærer (2) på hvilken strømskinnen (3) med bæresteget (14) er opplagret. På begge sider av åpningen (11) i hammerhodesporet (10) befinner det seg anleggsflater (12, 13) for videreførende ledere, idet anleggs- flatene (21, 12, 13) står i vinkel til bæresteget (14). I en bakskjæring mellom bæresteget (14), profildelen med hammer- hodesporet (10) og kommer det til inngrep en skulder (20) som er anbragt på bæreren (2). Som videreførende ledere kan det benyttes flatskinner (21), kabelsko (26) og skyveklemmer (28) . Videre kan det på bæresteget (14) være opplagret og festet en forsterkningsskinne (30).
