Abstract
In order to minimise high consequential damage in complex production installations, for example rolling lines, it is proposed in the case of a device for influencing switchgear as a function of mains state data by means of current detection and evaluation that a process-dependent coupling of individual drive components of the network into drive blocks is provided, whose components can be disconnected if necessary in a process-dependent manner or can be operated with a calculated overload of the drive. The overload is calculated by means of the life of the drive machine which can still be expected at the increased temperature. <IMAGE>
