Abstract
Measuring probe with two electrodes (1) and a non conducting membrane (3) arranged between the electrodes (1, 2), wherein the electrodes (1, 2) are provided with an insulating coating (4) comprised preferably of a metal oxide, mixed metal oxides, a metal nitride, an inorganic insulating material or flurocarbon and wherein the non conducting membrane (3) contains a metal oxide, mixed metal oxides or an organic or inorganic insulating material; according to the utilization, the membrane (3) and the coating (4) of the electrodes are porous (for measurements in non aqueous liquids) or non porous (for measurements in water-containing liquids). The present invention also relates to a process for measuring the properties of a liquid with the measuring probe according to the present invention as well as to the utilization of said measuring probe for the continuous or discontinuous analysis of liquids.
