Abstract

An inwardly facing circumferential ledge is machined in the other half of the belt and an O-ring is inserted into the O-ring groove. The band halves. are then pushed into each other to form a pressure vessel with the O-ring pressed firmly between the ledges. The band halves are clamped together to make the composite container.
