Description
The present invention relates to a device for an exhibition stand defined by bottom, roof and wall sections which define and delimit an internal space for the display/exhibition of objects. In particular, the invention relates to a stand which is suitable for displaying valuable, expensive and/or fragile objects to the public, where at the same time the safety of the objects is fully ensured.
Bakgrunn for oppfinnelsen / teknikkens stilling. Background for the invention / state of the art.
There are well-known glass display stands that are used both outdoors and indoors - for example in museums - to display objects and pictures. It is also intended to display advertising and other information. The main purpose is to protect the items against damage and theft. Exhibition objects are often fragile and sensitive to humidity and perhaps lighting conditions, and then the exhibition may include technical equipment to control the climate such as humidity/temperature/light inside the exhibition. Furthermore, the content can be remotely monitored with motion sensors and a video camera.

This technique's position shows that it is known to convert solar panels from a storage/transport position on vehicles to a use position, where the panels can form wall parts. However, it is only the aforementioned "Vodafone Mobile Tiny House" that shows solar panels to cover windows, and furthermore, the panel should only cover parts of, but not the entire wall surface as is intended with the present invention. Thus, none of these publications relate to exhibition stands.
Formål med oppfinnelsen. Purpose of the invention.
With the invention, the aim is to produce an exhibition stand for use outdoors, where you want to switch off the stand in the evening, at night or other periods of time by covering it completely.
With the invention, the aim is therefore to produce an exhibition stand which, in its position of use, displays the objects inside the stand in a normal way, and where the exhibition/objects can be shielded from view by covering the wall surfaces with plates.
The aim is also to create mechanisms that enable the changeover between the two positions to take place easily and quickly, and preferably operated from a remote control center and with cameras that ensure that the changeover goes smoothly.
Another purpose is that the display stand is mobile so that it can easily be moved from place to place, and can be transported by the normal means of transport, such as cargo vehicles (truck-wagon trains) and as goods on railways. That the length/width/height dimensions and the construction are otherwise adapted to a standard 20" (foot) container, for example, so that the assembly can be easily loaded and transported by all common standard means of transport such as trains, ships, trucks and planes.
It is also an aim that the assembly can be quickly set up in places where you would not normally use resources to set up fixed assembly installations.
Furthermore, it is a purpose that the exhibition stand can include integrated power-producing units such as solar panels so that it can be self-sufficient with electricity for indoor and outdoor lighting, and to possibly operate an air conditioner inside the stand's housing, as well as all the instrumentation that is necessary for to monitor the critical functions based on what is exhibited in the display room inside the assembly.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse. Present invention.
The device at the display stand according to the invention is characterized by the fact that the wall sections comprise wall parts that can be adjusted from a position where they completely cover the display/opening surfaces in the display room and a position where they expose wall surface parts to sunlight for the production and storage of solar energy in a storage unit for the operation of technical equipment in connection with the fitter.
According to a preferred embodiment, each wall part comprises two plate elements arranged to be repositioned from a position where they are folded together next to each other to cover the display/opening surfaces into the display room, and to a position where they are folded apart from each other and expose/expose said display/opening surfaces.
According to yet another preferred embodiment, the surfaces of the plate elements which face each other in the folded position comprise solar cell elements.
Foretrukket er flatene med solcelleelementer i utfoldet stilling, foldet ut for eksponering for solinnstråling. Preference is given to the surfaces with solar cell elements in the unfolded position, unfolded for exposure to solar radiation.
Furthermore, according to yet another preferred solution, one or both plates from the opposite sides of the assembly can be laid all the way down on the roof surface with the solar cells facing upwards, or their respective long side edges can be laid mutually supporting each other.
Preferably, the mount comprises transparent wall parts made of glass which said plate units are designed to cover. Furthermore, it includes drive means both for swinging up and down the unit of the two plates and for performing folding and unfolding of the plates between the two positions, such as piston/cylinder units or in the case of gear drives.
According to yet another preferred embodiment, said drive means for folding the plate parts are supplied with drive energy from the storage unit.
Furthermore, the assembly includes electrical equipment for lighting and operation of drives for folding and unfolding the plate parts, as well as a security system (alarm system) and surveillance (camera) to secure the assembly and the objects on display.
In an alternative solution, the installer includes a security system designed for two-way wireless communication with a remote alarm centre.
According to yet another preferred solution, the assembly's construction is based on an ordinary existing transport container, where the side walls are formed by transparent walls of glass/plastic and an outer covering of the inventive two-part plate construction, the assembly being produced by rebuilding existing containers or built from scratch with the same design.
The mounter is also preferably equipped with legs, preferably in each corner, which can be individually adjusted in height so that the mounter, placed on an uneven surface, can be set to stand horizontally.
These preferred embodiments appear from the independent claims 2-12.
In the case of a new construction of a stand, it can be assembled from lightweight beams, posts and plate material, such as aluminium, reinforced plastic, carbon fibers or other composite materials. The point here is that the assembly is lightweight so that it can, for example, be easily lifted by helicopter to be placed in places where people gather but which are not so easily accessible for transport by vehicle. This can be, for example, at rest areas by hiking trails and similar places.
The mounter can be used to display visual art and works of art in a safe way, and which protects them from damage. It can be left on active display without direct supervision other than with the surveillance cameras and the automatic alarm system in operation via a monitoring centre.
Furthermore, the assembly is correspondingly equipped with locking and coupling devices for easy placement and attachment to the floor/deck of a freight wagon for trains or wagon trains. In addition to the solar power panels for power generation, the installer can include an upright pole with a windmill for supplementary power generation for those cases where there is low solar radiation due to clouds or as a result of the dark season.
Beskrivelse av figurer Description of figures
The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to the subsequent figures, in which: Figure 1 shows in perspective an example of an exhibition stand according to the invention.
Figur 2 viser et langsgående snitt gjennom monteren. Figure 2 shows a longitudinal section through the assembly.
Figure 3 shows a cross-section along the section A-A in Figure 2, i.e. towards the short side of the assembly. Figure 4 shows the short side of the assembly with the wall surfaces opened to their full use position for exposing the solar panels to the sun for the production of electricity. Figure 5 shows an enlargement to show the mechanism for swinging up or lowering the plates. Figures 6A, 6B and 6C show how the plates can, for example, be swung from their folded position to a fully unfolded position in a V shape. Figures 6 and 7 show the display stand as seen from an angle from above or straight from above, where the solar panels are folded up and out. The figures also suggest how large a cell area can be produced with the inventive construction of the display stand, in relation to the top surface area shown in figure 1.
Beskrivelse av foretrukne utførelser av oppfinnelsen. Description of preferred embodiments of the invention.
Initially, reference is made to Figure 1, which shows an exhibition stand 10 as constructed according to the invention. It appears as a box/container shape, made up of a truss framework to form a bottom/floor section 12, roof section 14 and vertical corner posts 16 between which are fitted longitudinally foldable wall parts 20. The end walls 24 can also be folded up and down. When these wall parts 20 and 24 are swung up, transparent walls 27 such as glass windows are revealed which are installed between the corner posts 16 and vertical uprights 22 and which, together with the mounter's roof, bottom and side walls, delimit an internal display room 100 for placing the exhibit(s). .
Inside the display there are wall surfaces and floor surfaces to place objects to be displayed, or they can be placed in connection with separate display walls or on plinths which can be placed in various ways and places inside the display. In addition, there is interior lighting, and an air conditioner can be installed to regulate temperature and humidity depending on what the exhibits require of such installations. In central places in the framework, surveillance equipment such as cameras, burglary protection and the like can also be installed. It is an advantage that the construction is robust, for example with shatterproof glass, since it is intended to be left outdoors, and preferably without special supervision. This is particularly to prevent and prevent items on display from being damaged or removed unintentionally. For such a purpose, the exhibitor also includes a security system (alarm system) and surveillance (camera) to secure the exhibitor and the objects on display, which may include devices for establishing wireless two-way communication between the exhibitor and a remote alarm center.
The fitter shown in Figure 2 comprises on the long side two vertical uprights 22a and 22b between the corner posts 16 so that three separate display wall surfaces are defined behind the cover plates 22. On each short side there is such a display surface 24 in a similar manner.
As shown in the figures, the assembly 10 has the appearance of a container.
The floor section 12 includes a suitable storage space for a battery pack 30 - shown generally in figure 3 - and the electrical equipment and wiring network connection (not shown in detail) of the solar panel to the battery pack. Furthermore, it includes a wiring network that connects to the necessary light points for lighting in the display room inside the assembly and possibly light points on the outside of the assembly. In the storage room 12 there is also the equipment (not shown) for operating the air conditioning, with associated wiring. Furthermore, the battery pack is designed to provide power to the mechanism that folds up and down the wall parts 20 and 24, as this can also be operated manually.
Part of the mechanical devices for operating the folding walls can also be mounted in the assembler's "attic section" 26 covered by the roof 14, while the battery pack itself, which is charged by the solar cells, is appropriately placed in the "basement". In the example according to Figures 4 and 5, a preferred mechanism is shown, while Figure 6 illustrates the rearrangement of the two plate parts in the wall part 20.
An essential feature of the invention is the construction of the foldable plates 22,24 which will combine the cover function of the mounter and the solar cell function, how they are constructed, and where the purpose is to increase the active solar cell area to an area that is much larger than the roof surface of the basic mounter.
Figures 3 and 6A illustrate the wall part 20 in the position where it covers the glass window.
The wall part 20 (in front of the glass wall) is composed of two mutually pivotable plates 20a, 20b, where the opposite wall surfaces 20c and 20d, when folded together, are defined by solar panels that cover the flat side of each plate. When these two plates are folded together as in figures 3 and 6A, the two solar cell sides 20c and 20d face each other. This means that in its stock position where the windows in the assembly are covered, the solar cell elements 20c, 20d are hidden lying against each other, and that is the back. The two plates are arranged to be swung upwards about an axis 40 along the upper edge surface of the fitting wall, with the outermost plate 20b then being swung further up and at an angle towards the center of the roof 14 until it, together with the corresponding folded-up plate 28b from the opposite monter long side forms the shape of a salt roof, cf. figures 4, 5 and 7. One or both plates can of course also be laid completely flat on the roof surface. They can also be constructed so that the respective long side edges 20f, 20g (figure 5) can be placed and supported against each other, thus relieving the piston/cylinder units which swing and push the plates up and down and hold them in place. In these positions of the plate parts 20a, 20, both solar cell rafts 20c, 20d are exposed to direct solar radiation to produce electricity for the battery 30.
The two plates are mutually pivotally connected in an upper long side attached to a longitudinal rod 40 in the assembly's roof part. A drive unit 50, a piston/cylinder unit, is fixed between the roof structure and a mounting plate 42 into which a corner of one cover plate 20a is fixed. When the piston/cylinder unit is activated, the mounting plate 42 rotates around the rod 40 and performs the aforementioned swing movement of the cover plate 20, upwards or downwards. The mounting plate 42 can be in the form of a three-edged plate. Each end of each plate 20 is connected to such a drive unit 50 connected to the roof structure, respectively each upright 22a, 22b and the corner posts 16, as indicated in Figure 2.
Figures 6A-C show how the two plates 20a, 20b are set in relation to each other from the folded down covering position Figure 6A to an intermediate position where the second plate 20b starts to swing upwards to the left in relation to 20a, until the end position in Figure 6C which corresponds the plate positions in figures 4 and 5.
The inner edge 20h of the second plate 20b is arranged to pivot relative to the first plate 20a at an attachment point in this plate, by means of a second set of piston/cylinder units 52 whose ends are attached to the respective plates, so that the second plate 20b can swing further upwards, while the first plate is at rest in its end position.
It appears that the plates 20a and 20b assume a V-shape in their position of use. Taken together transversely, the plates form a zig-zag pattern as indicated on the side view in Figure 7. The plates 24 at the transverse ends can be swung up to a suitable inclined position, correspondingly when using hydraulics, via piston/cylinder units, also located in the roof structure. As an alternative to using hydraulic drives, gear drives can be used. The rotation can also be carried out manually or with the help of one or more drive motors that activate and drive the mechanism.
Figures 7 and 8 show that the area that can be exposed to the sun is much larger than the area of the roof surface 14. The increased exposure area as a result of unfolding the plates 20 and 28 can be as large as 50% in relation to the roof area according to figure 1.
