Description

BRAIN WAVE STIMULATOR – BWI
FILED OF THE INVETION:
[0001] The present invention relates to novel medical apparatuses intended for enforcement of concentration and relive of stress related symptoms such as, but not limited to headache and anxiety in users. More particularly, the invention relates to individuals suffering from the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, also known as ADHD. But a broad range of application is seen for the future of this apparatus, explained further in section for claims.
BACKGROUND:
[0002] After years of studies and what is well known in the neurological sociality, it has been shown that the Brain has the ability to broadcast 5 main types of brain-waves while operating on different levels, both on conscious and in unconscious level. The device has the possibility to broadcast the range of the 5 main brainwaves, including subgroups of the 5 mentioned waves. A pattern of brain wave activity is also seen in the human brain as its natural way during a specific activity or in a specific environment. In some individuals we can see an error in this part. For example, during learning process the brain emanates Beta wave at its primary phase. Now instead of Beta, if we observe a dominance of Teta wave, not only is it indicative that there is low learning quality but it can also reveal that the person has a higher chance of concentration disturbances as a whole.
[0003] The trend mentioned above can be seen in Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which is characterized by problems in but not limited to, paying attention, excessive activity, and/or difficulty controlling behavior.
[0004] Our machine (Brain-wave inducer - BWI) has the potential to increase the concentration span and improve the learning capacity of the individuals as general, but especially those suffering from the ADHD. The mechanism has the possibility to create a controlled-environment for the brain that produces all ranges of the 5 main brain-wave types(Gama/Beta/Alfa/Teta/Delta), and thus enhance the concentration, learning ability, relaxation and even calm the person down. This is done by sending electromagnetic waves in specific frequency which in return activates the neurons to response through enhancing the production of a specific brain-waves. Thus, by our machine not only can we control which brain-wave should dominate at the time of stimulation, but also how intense the dominant should be.
[0005] According to the treatment path now days for some of the problematic conditions referred to earlier, we believe that there is a need for a device which leads to improvement of the life for individuals, whom suffer from one or more of the conditions mentioned above.
BRIEF SUMMERY OF THE INVENTION:
[0006] The subject invention comprises an apparatus (– the brain wave inducer / BWI–) for enforcement and control of brain wave activity, and by doing so improvement of certain conditions. BWI has the potential to increase the concentration span, improve the learning capacity of the individuals as general, but especially those suffering from the ADHD. It may also be used as a treatment method for headache, anxiety, dependence and insomnia. The BWI has the potential to be used in many conditions, and thus, the specification and claims should be read with the understanding that such combinations are entirely within the scope of the invention and the claims.
