Abstract

There is described a lift beam (10) for use in lifting operations offshore, the lift beam (10) being configured for being suspended between two scaffold towers (20), wherein the lift beam (10) comprises connecting means (11) for connecting the lift beam (10) to the scaffold towers (20), wherein the connecting means (11) comprises pad eyes (11-1) arranged for securing the lift beam (10) to two opposite corner pillars (40) of the scaffold towers (20). A lifting system (100) comprising the lift beam (10) and two scaffold towers (20) is also described. An elevator beam (10) is described for use in offshore lifting operations, the lift beam (10) being configured to be suspended between two scaffold towers (20), the lift beam (10) comprising connecting means (11) for connecting the lift beam (10) to the scaffold towers (20), the connecting means (11) comprising pad eyes (11-1) arranged for securing the lift beam (10) to two opposite corner pillars (40) of the scaffold towers (20).
