Abstract

A data structure, a system, and a method of placing orders for items such as goods and/or services, are described. Multiple orders can be placed and each item in each order can be associated with a respective phase or project. The system utilizes a data structure which enables processing, management, accessand presentation based on association of items with project phases and with order status. The system is able to handle multiple item providers and can organize, present, filter and separate information based on different criteria, and may also be integrated with external systems that provide item classification.
