Abstract

This publication relates to chair for supporting a reinforcement memberfor concrete on a supporting surface, for example arranged on a tunnel wall or roof surface, comprising a base member configured to be attached to the supporting surface; preferably an intermediate part fixed to and extending out from one side of the base and a reinforcement bar locking device fixed to an opposite end of the intermediate part, the locking device being provided with memberfor receiving the reinforcement member. The chair is made of a plastic material that may be fixed by welding to the supporting surface and that both the supporting surface and at least the base part of the chair are made of compatible plastic materials that allow welding by hot air.
