Abstract

The current control device can be activated by the reactive element's reaction to the fluid. In some embodiments, the reactive element reacts by exhibiting a change in a mechanical material property. The reaction of the reactive element may be reversible. In some embodiments, the reactive element may be a mold-lowering polymer. The current control device may comprise an actuating member operatively coupled to the reactive member. The reaction of the reactive element to a given fluid releases the activating element to activate the current control device.
