Abstract

En gassløfteventil har en strømningsinnsnevring, en ventil på èn side av strømningsinnsnevringen, en strømningsavleder og en rørformet innretning på en annen side av strømningsinnsnevringen, og en klaffventil på den andre siden av strømningsinnsnevringen hvor den rørformede innretningen er plassert, hvor klaffventilen grenser til den rørformede innretningen. Når fluid strømmer inn i gassløfteventilen ved tilstrekkelig trykk, åpnes ventilen og fluid strømmer gjennom strømningsinnsnevringen og virker på strømningsavlederen og beveger derved på den rørformede innretningen og åpner klaffventilen. Den rørformede innretningen strekker seg gjennom åpningen som var dekket av klaffventilen.
