Abstract

A container in the form of a receptacle and removable lid (3) for closing and exposing a storage space for a product, with the lid being of the clamp-fit type with a closing part (46) and a collar (19) that encloses the opening edge of the receptacle and projects downwards with the opening edge (6) of the receptacle having a circular flange (13) and with the collar on the lid being made of a flexible plastic material, In the lid's fastening position, a circular locking device (32), that projects radially inward and faces toward the flange on the receptacle, projects below the flange and makes contact with a lower surface of the flange. The locking device is designed with passages (28) for releasing air from the inside of the container to the surroundings when the lid is applied.
