Abstract
En pakningsanordning og fremgangsmåter for bruk for en pakning i uforet brønnhull for å danne en komplett fluidtetning. Pakningsanordningen (36) innbefatter et sentralt stammelegeme (44) som tilbakeholder en fierhet av stablede, teleskopisk ekspanderende elementer (50) som kan beveges utover fra stammelegemet. Stammelegemet og ekspansjonselementene er omgitt av en belastningsfordelende struktur (58) såvel som et tetningselement (60), som typisk består av elastomer. Pakningsanordningen aktiveres hydraulisk for å presse ekspansjonselementene radialt utover mot den belastningsfordelende struktur og tetningselementet.
