Abstract

Oppfinnelsen omfatter en applikasjons-spesifikk, selektiv videresendings-enhet og et globalt virtuelt nettverk med garantert kapasitet for transport av nevnte IP-pakker. Et antall applikasjonsspesifikke videresendingsenheter benyttes for å detektere og videresende utvalgte trafikktyper til det nevnte virtuelle nettverk. De applikasjons-spesifikke, selektive videresendingsenhetene kan implementeres basert på analyse av IP-pakker eller ved kontrollprotokoller som SIP/H.323 .A device and system for equipment and services to provide improved global transport of IP packets. The invention includes an application-specific, selective forwarding device and a global virtual network with guaranteed capacity for transporting said IP packets. A number of application-specific forwarding devices are used to detect and forward selected traffic types to said virtual network. The application-specific, selective forwarding devices can be implemented based on analysis of IP packets or by control protocols such as SIP / H.323.
