Abstract
En fiberoptisk pluggbar kobling (5) for bruk i et fluidmedium har som særtrekk at det bakre rørformede parti (21) av pluggen tvinges glidende inn i hoveddelpartiet (7) for først å presse sammen pluggens stempelkammer (17) for således å gjøre det mulig for optisk fluid (19) å bli støtet ut ved enden av sentreringspartiet (13) og det fremre parti (9) av pluggen, slik at den fremre ende av den optiske fiber (5) tørkes av og renses for fluid og fremmede partikler, mens sentreringspartiet (55) på grunnivået drives bakover av trykket utøvet av pluggen på en slik måte at enden av den optiske fiber (5) strekker seg utover inn i sentreringspartiet (13) av pluggen innrettet etter fiberen (5) i pluggen (3) og likeledes tørkes av på grunn av sammenpresningsvirkningen fra dens stempelkammer (59).
