Abstract

En fremgangsmåte for kartlegging av resistivitetskontraster i undergrunnen omfatter å ta flerkanals, elektrisk transientmålinger ved minst en elektrisk kilde med jordinngangselektroder eller en magnetisk kilde med strøm i en eller flere ledningssløyfer, og minst en elektrisk eller magnetisk feltmottaker, å måle den resulterende jordrespons samtidig ved hver mottaker ved å benytte et kjent registreringssystem, å måle systemresponsen ved å måle direkte strømmen i ledningen ved kilden under bruk av omtrent samme registreringssystem, å bruke den målte systemresponsen til å avdekke impulsrespons til undergrunnen fra hver målt jordrespons, og fra disse impulsresponsene å frembringe en undergrunnsrepresentasjon av resistivitetskontraster.
