Abstract
Det beskrives en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av 1,4-benzoquioner av formel (II) (II) hvor R1, R2, R3og R4 er uavhengig valgt blant gruppen omfattende forgrenet eller ikke-forgrenet C1-C6, alkyl, fenyl og benzyl, hvor fenyl og benzyl er valgfritt substituert av én eller flere substituenter uavhengig valgt blant gruppen omfattende C1-C6 alkyl og halogen og hvor C1-C6, alkyl er valgfritt substituert med én eller flere halogensubstituenter, og hvor R2 og R3 sammen kan danne en C1-C6-alkylenradikal, valgfritt substituert av én eller flere substituenter uavhengig valgt blant gruppen omfattende C1-C6, benzyl, fenyl og halogen. En foretrukket forbindelse er 2,3-dimetoksy-5-metyl-[1,4]-benzoquinon, også kjent som koenzym Q0 (CoQ0). Også beskrevet er en fremgangsmåte for kontinuerlig syntese av 1,4-benzoquioner i en kontinuerlig strømningsreaktor.There is disclosed a process for the preparation of 1,4-benzoquions of formula (II) (II) wherein R 1, R 2, R 3 and R 4 are independently selected from the group consisting of branched or unbranched C 1 -C 6, alkyl, phenyl and benzyl, wherein phenyl and benzyl is optionally substituted by one or more substituents independently selected from the group comprising C1-C6 alkyl and halogen and wherein C1-C6, alkyl is optionally substituted by one or more halogen substituents, and wherein R2 and R3 may together form a C1-C6 group. alkylene radical, optionally substituted by one or more substituents independently selected from the group comprising C1-C6, benzyl, phenyl and halogen. A preferred compound is 2,3-dimethoxy-5-methyl- [1,4] -benzoquinone, also known as coenzyme Q0 (CoQ0). Also disclosed are novel compounds and intermediates, and a process for producing coenzyme Qn, preferably coenzyme Q0. Also described is a process for the continuous synthesis of 1,4-benzoquions in a continuous flow reactor.
