Abstract
Seismisk akkvisisjonssystem omfattende en fjernstyrt bøye for å gjennomføre seismiske datainnsamlingsoperasjoner. Bøyen omfatter et driftssystem for å aktivere en seismisk bølgegenereringsanordning på bøyen, et posisjoneringssystem, et kommunikasjonssystem og et dynamisk posisjonsbestemmelsessystem. Det seismiske akkvisisjonssystemet omfatter også et fjernstyringssystem for å styre bøyesystemene. Det seismiske akkvisisjonssystemet omfatter også mottakere for å motta den seismiske bølgen og generere et datasignal som beskriver den mottatte seismiske bølgen. Det seismiske akkvisisjonssystemet fungerer ved å styre posisjoneringssystemet med fjernstyringssystemet for å posisjonere bøyen og deretter aktivere driftssystemet med fjernstyringssystemet for å generere en seismisk bølge fra den seismiske bølgegenereringsanordningen. Mottakerne mottar da den seismiske bølgen og genererer et datasignal som beskriver den seismiske bølgen. Tidspunktet for generering av den seismiske bølgen så vel som posisjonen til bøyen på genereringstidspunktet blir da analysert med datasignalet av en dataprosessor.
