Forpakning for artikler (1), spesielt for luftkondisjonerende apparater av vesentlig parallellepipedisk form omfattende: en polymerfilm (3) med luftbobler (4), hvor hver av luftboblene (4) har en forhåndsbestemt grad av oppblåsthet, hvor polymerfilmen (3) blir pakket rundt artikkelen (1) langs sin største dimensjon, minst to skall (5) anbrakt på de to motstående minste endene av artikkelen (1) som er dekket med polymerfilmen (3), fyllelementer (4) stukket inn mellom veggene hos artikkelen (1) som er anbrakt i hvert skall (5) og innsideveggene av skallet (5), og en film av varmekrympende materiale (8) som dekker både luftboblepolymer- filmen (3, 4) pakket rundt artikkelen (1) og skallene (5) som er tilpasset endene av artikkelen (1), hvor den varmekrympende filmen (8) er i en termisk krympet tilstand.
