Abstract
SAMMENDRAG Det er beskrevet et system for overføring av elektrisk energi mellom forskjellige deler av en elektrisk ledende struktur, og særlig for overføring av effekt og/eller datasignaler til/fra utstyr eller instrumentering nede i hullet i olje- og gassbrønner. Et første lag elektrisk isolerende, keramisk material (5) avsettes på strukturen (f.eks. en oljerørstreng 3A), etterfulgt av en rekke elektrisk ledende spor (6) og et andre lag elektrisk isolerende, keramisk material (7). Sporene (6) som tjener til å overføre effekt og/eller datasignaler blir således inneklemt mellom lagene (5 og 7), isolert fra strukturen (3A) og det ytre miljø og beskyttet mot skade. Hvert lag (5, 6 og 7) avsettes ved hjelp av en termisk sprøyteprosess, slik som ved plasmasprøyting eller sprøyting med oksygen/brensel ved høy hastighet.SUMMARY A system for transmitting electrical energy between different parts of an electrically conductive structure is described, and in particular for transmitting power and / or data signals to / from equipment or instrumentation downhole in oil and gas wells. A first layer of electrically insulating ceramic material (5) is deposited on the structure (e.g. an oil pipe string 3A), followed by a series of electrically conductive grooves (6) and a second layer of electrically insulating ceramic material (7). The tracks (6) which serve to transmit power and / or data signals are thus interposed between the layers (5 and 7), isolated from the structure (3A) and the external environment and protected from damage. Each layer (5, 6 and 7) is deposited by a thermal spraying process, such as by plasma spraying or high-speed oxygen / fuel spraying.
