Abstract

I én fremstilling representerer denne anordningen et gripesystem for en tang, for å sammenføye rørforbindelser og skru rørforbindelser fra hverandre. Gripesystemet er koblet til tangens dreiebord. Gripesystemet inkluderer en aktiv kjeve og to passive kjever som er montert på dreiebordet. De to passive kjevene skal helst være montert i en avstand på under 120 grader fra hverandre og er forbundet til dreiebordet ved et hengsel. Gripesystemet er konstruert og tilpasset for å la hver passive kjeve reagere med samme kraft som gripekraften som påføres av den aktive kjeven. I en annen fremstilling innlemmer konstruksjonen en mekanisk rotasjonslås for å låse eller frigjøre tangens dreiebord.
