Abstract

Det er vist et mekanisk apparat for å gripe og håndtere rørformede legemer, slik som et borerør. Dette apparat utgjøres hovedsakelig av en automatisert sluretrekker, som da hovedsakelig omfatter en slurebasis, en trekkmekanisme, svingbart forbundet med slurebasisen, samt minst én sylinder eller fjær festet til trekkmekanismen. Apparatet som helhet er løsbart forbundet med et rotsjonsbord anordnet over et borehull. Ved et typisk brønnboringsarbeide blir den automatiserte sluretrekker festet til sluresammenstilling, som deretter plasseres omkring et borerør og posisjonsinnstilles i rotasjonsrørets bøssing. Når den automatiserte sluretrekker blir aktivert, vil trekkmekanismen fjerne sluresammenstillingen fra rotasjonsbordets bøssing samt fra området omkring borerøret, slik at borerøret derved tillates å føres inn i eller ut av brønnboringen. Under drift vil intet parti av den automatiserte sluretrekker befinne seg på utsiden av rotasjonsbordets grensekant.
