Abstract

En anordning for overvåkning av en undergrunnsformasjon som et borehull passerer gjennom, omfatter et ledende foringsrør (6) anordnet i borehullet (1) som passerer gjennom formasjonen (4), et antall sensorer (12-1 ) anordnet i borehullet for måling av en elektrisk egenskap ved formasjonen (4) utenfor foringsrøret (6), og som er elektrisk isolert fra dette; og en elektrisk strømkilde (11) anordnet i borehullet (1) og er innrettet for å injisere en strøm i formasjonen (4); idet foringsrøret (6) har et elektrisk isolerende belegg (14) på sin overflate, i det minste i området ved sensorene (12-1), og et elektrisk ledende parti (11) i elektrisk kontakt med formasjonen (4), og en strømforsyning (10) som er koplet til foringsrøret (6) slik at strøm flyter inn i formasjonen (4) fra det elektrisk ledende parti (11) som virker som strømkilde, idet sensorene (12-1) måler en elektriske egenskap ved formasjonen (4) som et resultat av denne strømflyten.
