Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår vannbaserte oljebrønnboringsfluider som inneholder en stivelsespolymer avledet fra en stivelse som har et amyloseinnhold på minst ca. 50 vekt- %. Stivelsespolymeren gir høytemperaturfluidtapsytelse mens den har minimum påvirkning på viskositetsoppbygning når den inkorporeres i brønnboringsfluider. De kan også anvendes i andre applikasjoner hvor cellulosepolymerer hittil har vært anvendt på grunn av deres høye temperaturtoleranse og minimale effekt på reologiske egenskaper sammenlignet med vanlige stivelsespolymerer.
