Abstract

Et neuralt nettverk for å predikere seismisk streamerform gjennom seismiske operasjoner har et inngangslag, et valgfritt skjult lag og et utgangslag, hvor hvert lag har én eller flere noder. Det første laget omfatter inngangsnoder knyttet til seismiske datainnsamlingsoperasjonsparametere som følgende: fartøykoordinater, mottakerkoordinater, tid, fartøyhastighet, strømhastighet, vindhastighet, vanntemperatur, saltholdighet, tidevannsinformasjon, vanndybde, streamertetthet og streamerdimensjoner. Hver node i inngangslaget er forbundet til hver node i det skjulte laget og hver node i det skjulte laget er forbundet til hver node i utgangslaget, idet utgangslaget gir ut en predikert kabelform. Det skjulte laget kan utelates. Når det skjulte laget er utelatt, er hver node i inngangslaget knyttet til hver node i utgangslaget. Hver forbindelse mellom noder har en tilknyttet vekt og en opplæringsprosess for å bestemme vektene for hver av forbindelsene i det neurale nettverket. Det opplærte neurale nettverket gir respons på innganger og utganger for å generere en predikert kabelform. Opplæringsprosessen anvender et flertall opplæringssett på det neurale nettverket. Hvert opplæringssett omfatter et sett av innganger og en ønsket kabelform. Med hvert opplæringsdatasett, bestemmer opplæringsprosessen forskjellen mellom kabelformen predikert av det neurale nettverket og den ønskede eller kjente kabelform en. Opplæringsprosessen justerer så vektene til de neurale jo nettverksnodene basert på forskjellen mellom den utgitte predikerte kabelformen og den ønskede kabelformen. Feilen knyttet til hver node i det neurale nettverket kan knyttes av opplæringsprosessen via bruk av tilbakeforplantning eller en annen opplæringsteknikk.
