Abstract

Styresystem for en degasser (avgassingsenhet) omfattende: et rørformet separasjonskammer med en oppstrømsende hvor fluidstrøm som føres inn ved hjelp av et spinnelement i oppstrømsenden settes i rotasjon og separeres til; en tyngre fraksjon som i hovedsak samles langs separasjonskammerets innvendige rørvegg og tas ut gjennom et utløp i en nedstrømsende av separasjonskammeret; og en lettere fraksjon som i hovedsak samles langs separasjonskammerets lengdeakse hvorfra et uttaksrør er anordnet for levering av den lettere fraksjon til; en kontrollseparator som er anordnet for å separere ut eventuelt medrevet tyngre fraksjon fra den lettere fraksjon, hvilken medrevet tyngre fraksjon tas ut gjennom en utløpsledning fra et bunnområde fylt med tyngre fraksjon i kontrollseparatoren, fortrinnsvis for levering derav til den tyngre fraksjon fra separasjonskammeret, mens den lettere fraksjon tas ut fra kontrollseparatoren gjennom en egen utløpsledning. Styresystemet er særpreget ved at det omfatter: en differansetrykkgiver for angivelse av differansetrykk mellom området for den lettere fraksjon i separasjonskammeret og kontrollseparatoren, idet nevnte differansetrykk benyttes som grunnlag for regulering av en ventil i utløpsledningen for den lettere fraksjon fra kontrollseparatoren, og en nivågiver for angivelse av nivå av den tyngre fraksjon i kontrollseparatoren, idet nevnte nivå benyttes som grunnlag for regulering av en ventil i utløpsledningen for den tyngre fraksjon fra kontrollseparatoren.Control system for a degasser (degassing unit) comprising: a tubular separation chamber with an upstream end where fluid flow introduced by means of a spinning element at the upstream end is set in rotation and separated; a heavier fraction which is substantially collected along the inner tube wall of the separation chamber and taken out through an outlet in a downstream end of the separation chamber; and a lighter fraction which is substantially collected along the longitudinal axis of the separation chamber from which an outlet pipe is arranged for delivery of the lighter fraction to; a control separator arranged to separate any entrained heavier fraction from the lighter fraction, which entrained heavier fraction is taken out through an outlet line from a bottom area filled with heavier fraction in the control separator, preferably for delivery thereof to the heavier fraction from the separation chamber, while lighter fraction is taken out of the control separator through a separate outlet line. The control system is characterized in that it comprises: a differential pressure transmitter for indicating differential pressure between the area of the lighter fraction in the separation chamber and the control separator, said differential pressure being used as a basis for regulating a valve in the outlet line for the lighter fraction from the control separator, and a level sensor for indicating of the level of the heavier fraction in the control separator, said level being used as a basis for regulating a valve in the outlet line for the heavier fraction from the control separator.
