Abstract
Signalgivende anordning i form av en radioaktiv innsats (24) som, fortrinnsvis når to eller flere av disse er satt sammen i et egnet mønster i en gjenstands gods, skal kunne anvendes i et system for merking og gjenkjenning av faste og stive gjenstander, eksempelvis et borerør (2), samt en fremgangsmå- te for å forankre innsatsen (24) til gjenstanden. Innsatsen (24) utgjøres av et egnet fast bæremateriale, eksempelvis aluminiumsoksid (A1203), mens det radioaktive materiale i innsatsen (24) eksempelvis utgjøres av radioaktive kobolt soCo-isotoper. I eksempelvis en binær tallkode, hvor hvert binære tall l er representert av det radioaktive signal fra en innsats (24), og hvor hvert binære tall O er representert av uteblivelsen av en slik innsats (24), vil nevnte innsatser (24) være godt egnet som aktive signalgivere, hvor man ved sammenstille innsatsene i forskjellige binære kodemønstre i hvert tilfelle vil kunne fremskaffe en unik binær tallkode.
