Description
The present invention relates to a device for a cage as stated in the introduction to the claim.
In the cages known to date, it is common to use steel structures with complicated walkways, such as e.g. in Norwegian application no. 870703. A cage device is also known from Norwegian patent no. 158912, but where the walkways and access to the different parts of the cage are rather poor.
In the past, there was also a well-known breeding facility with the name "EWOS GIGANT" where walking/driving bridges were arranged in the form of a beam from a central column.
Common to all previously known steel facilities is that they are either relatively expensive or that these cages are not stable and not safe in bad weather.
The purpose of the present invention is to avoid the above-mentioned problems.
This is achieved by means of a cage of the kind mentioned at the outset, the characteristic features of which appear in the claim.
By connecting the extreme points between said bridges with tension rods, the stability of the cage can be further increased.
By constructing a cage in this way, it will be possible to get a facility that can be produced far cheaper than the previously known devices and it is assumed that the cubic meter price will be 50 - 70$ for the cheapest existing steel facility.
By arranging in the aforementioned point a vertical central pipe for the transport of water from deeper-lying layers, it will also be possible in a simple way to obtain a supply of fresh water without bacteria and any algae.
It will be possible to arrange machine rooms, welfare rooms or similar rooms necessary for the operation of the cage without difficulty.
In the event of storms, the cage can be lowered to a predetermined depth and footbridges can then be arranged that extend from the top of the column downwards towards the new water level. In order for the cage to be lowered in this way, it must be equipped with its own chambers that can be filled with water and it would also be an advantage to have buoys attached to the end of the bridges for further stabilization in this position. 1 below, the invention shall be described in more detail with reference to the drawings, where:
Fig. 1 shows an example of the cage seen from above.
Fig. 2 viser skjematisk et eksempel på en merd ifølge Fig. 2 schematically shows an example of a cage according to
oppf innelsen. the invention.
Fig. 3 viser en ytterligere utførelsesform av merden ifølge Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment of the cage according to
oppf innelsen. the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a cage with walkways 2 arranged in a beam shape in accordance with the present invention starting from a point 1. The outer ends of the walkways or the road bridges 2 are connected by means of tension rods 5. These tension rods 5 can also be designed as bridges. At the end of said bridges 2, quay-like devices 3 can also be arranged which serve to dock for boats. Fig. 2 schematically shows a cage seen from the side with footbridges 2 that go out from a point which is designed as a central column and which can contain machine rooms and welfare rooms or similar rooms necessary for the operation of the cage. These rooms are indicated schematically with doors and windows. The extreme points of the footbridge 2 can, in addition to being connected to each other, also be connected via tension rod 6 to the top of the column and to the bottom of the column 1.
This vertical column 1 can also be used to transport water from greater depths where the water is relatively free of bacteria, parasites and algae and at the same time maintains a relatively even temperature.
This design of the cage also makes it possible to arrange pointed bag-like, closed breeding bags where all water is supplied from the center pipe and where pollutants that are common to the bottom can be pumped over into a transport vessel or over to land.
Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment of the cage where walkways are arranged in the upper part of the tie rods 6 which connect the outer ends of the footbridge 2 and the top of the column 1. These are particularly advantageous when it is desirable to lower the cage deeper to make it more stable on any stormy days. In order to lower the cage to a predetermined depth, it is necessary to arrange suitable chambers, which are not shown in detail here and also possibly buoys which are indicated schematically with 4. These buoys are then arranged at the outer ends of the footbridge 2 to ensure stability as well by submerging the cage.
