Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en eggkartong av den art hvor alle deler er sammenhengende og utstanset av ett emne som er forsynt med brettingslinjer for ved bøyning av emnet etter brettingslinjene å danne eggkartongen som har tversgående skillevegger bestående av utstansete tunger som i oppreist stilling holdes i tversgående slisser i en langsgående hul skillevegg med triangulært lukket tverrsnitt som danner skille for eggrommene. Claims

1. Egg carton of the kind where all parts are continuous and punched out of one blank which is provided with folding lines so that when the blank is bent along the folding lines to form the egg carton which has transverse partitions consisting of punched out tongues which in an upright position are held in transverse slits in a longitudinal hollow partition wall with a triangular closed cross-section which forms a partition for the egg compartments, characterized in that the longitudinal hollow partition wall is formed by bending an end part (1, 2, 3) of the cardboard blank and by the pre-bent cardboard with its one side (1) resting on its bottom which is formed by an upper (16) and a lower (17) flat part lying against each other, where the upper bottom part (16) forms the continuation of the part of the cardboard blank from which the longitudinal hollow partition is formed.

Egg carton according to claim 1, characterized in that the longitudinal hollow partition's one side (1) forms a spacer that determines the distance between the partition's other two sides (2, 3) on the carton base, with the spacer's free end edge being clamped against one of the partition's sides (3) along its lower edge by the fact that the egg carton's transverse partitions (7) at the bottom in the middle, known in and of themselves by recesses (18), are fork-shaped and at the bottom of slits (15) in the longitudinal partition's two sides (2, 3) grips over the sides and clamps them against the third side's (1) longitudinal edges.

3. Egg carton according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the lower bottom part of the carton (17) has a punched-out slot provided with a fastening tongue (23) for inserting a punched-out part (25) of the upper bottom part while the two bottom parts are kept locked using the fastening tongue.
