De uitvinding betreft een 'handsfree' uitleeseenheid, die contactloos informatie-dragers welke bevestigd zijn aan, op of in kleine dieren, bijvoorbeeld kuikens, muizen, kippen, kan detecteren.The invention relates to a 'hands-free' reading unit, which can detect contactless information carriers which are attached to, on or in small animals, for example chicks, mice, chickens.
Dieren kunnen om diverse redenen worden voorzien van een informatiedrager, bijvoorbeeld label of injectaat, waarin een unieke code opgeslagen kan zijn. Zo kan onder meer fraude in handel met dieren worden verminderd of de voerverstrekking worden afgestemd op het individuele, van een label voorziene dier. Zie o.a. F.en andere thans gebruikte uitleeseenheid is al dan niet draagbaar en omvat een externe antenne. Figuur 1 toont de configuratie bestaande uit een combinatie van een 'handsfree' leeseenheid, bestaand© uit een (ontvang)antenne en een leesstation, met 'handsfree' uitleesbare informatiedragers, al dan niet voorzien van een smartchip, bijvoorbeeld injectaten of labels. Hiervoor kan bijvoorbeeld het identificatieprincipe als omschreven in Nederlands octrooi nr. 176404 van aanvraagster worden gebruikt.The present invention aims at removing this drawback.
