Description

CONTAINER FOR STORING AND TRANSPORTING OF ADJUSTED QUANTITIES OF GRANULAR SUBSTANCES (SAND, GRAVEL, PUIN ETC.) EQUIPPED WITH A SEMI-AUTOMATIC DISCHARGE SYSTEM, ACTIVATED BY MOVING THE LIFTING POINT FROM THE LIFTING CHAIN.

The use of containers for the transport of all kinds of goods, and in particular of bulk products, is generally known.

The contents will have to be unloaded at the destination, which can be achieved by opening a release valve and tilting the container.

Placed on trucks, equipped with a tilting mechanism, is one of the solutions.

Emptying by means of a grab is also possible, but is a more cumbersome method, often leaving residual product, which can be considered less efficient for smaller, measured quantities.

The invention aims to eliminate these drawbacks, by using a simple construction, which does not require special tilting trucks or forklift trucks. The containers are very suitable for the transport of granular substances such as e.g. sand, gravel, etc., but other products can also be transported.

The content can of course be adjusted as desired (1 m3) or larger). For transport on a cross-section truck, a length-width ratio of 3 to 1 is very attractive because of the placement (in the longitudinal or transverse direction).

Several containers can also be stacked on top of each other. Due to these dimensions, it is e.g. a supplier of building materials to easily deliver a combination load of e.g. sand, gravel, cement, stones, wood, etc.

By changing the suspension point of the lifting chain and releasing the fixing device from the release valve, this is achieved by means of a linkage opens the valve and tilts the container. This operation will be further elucidated on the basis of the accompanying drawings.

In the closed position (fig. 1,2 and 4) the bracket 3 (fig. 2,4,5) is blocked by the catch 4 (fig. 2). In this position, the container can be hoisted in horizontal position at point 6 (fig. 2) by means of the chain 5 (fig. 1,2) and placed in the appropriate place.

- If you want to unload there, the fixing catch 4 (fig. 2) is folded over, the chain 5 (fig. 1,2 and 6) is with the second hook 7 (fig. 2) in eye 8 (fig. 1,2) and 6) confirmed. By lifting now, bracket 3 (fig. 2, 4, 5 and 6) swings to the right until a fixed point at the top of the bucket is reached, valve 2 (fig. 2, 4, 5 and 6) is opened via the linkage 14-16-18 (fig. 4,5 and 6) opened and the container hangs at an angle, so that it is well unloaded.

The linkage is pivotally connected via lever (fig. 6) to a fixed pivot point 12 (fig. 4,5 and 6) of bracket 3 (fig. 2,4,5 and 6). The other end of lever 14 is hinged to the end point 15 (fig. 6) of lever 16 (fig. 4,5 and 6). The other end of the lever 16 is hingedly connected to lever 18 (fig. 4,5 and 6), which in turn hinges at 19 (fig. 4,5 and 6) on the release valve 2 (fig. 4 and 6) is connected.

The lever 16 (fig. 4 and 6) can tilt about a fixed pivot point 17 (fig. 4,5 and 6), which forms a fixed connection with the container bin. By properly selecting the fixed hinge points 13,17 and 19 (fig. 4,5 and 6) with the container and unloading valve and a good mutual length ratio of the levers 3,14,16 and 18, the unloading valve is opened sufficiently far.

- After the return of lever 3 (fig. 1,2 and 4) and fixing by the ratchet mechanism 4 (fig. 2), the release valve is closed and a great closing force is achieved due to the selected length ratios of the levers.

By providing profiled side walls 10 (fig. 3) a great strength of the container is achieved. The provision of 2 box beams under the bottom also makes the container suitable for moving with forklift trucks. When these are equipped with a tilting mechanism, the container can also be emptied. The box is also provided with corner pieces at the top, so that the boxes are also stackable.

Claims (9)

  1.
