Abstract

The invention comprises a device for supporting, at a higher level, at least one bed base comprising two pairs of uprights and two horizontal bars which each interact with a pair of uprights. The bars may be of variable, adjustable length and may also be provided with closure elements which project upwards from outside the plane of the bar. The uprights may be in the form of a truncated pyramid.
