Abstract

The vehicle wheel comprises a tyre of resilient material mounted on the rim, together with a flexible reflective strip clamped between tyre and rim. The strip is of L-section, its shorter arm extending in the axial direction of the wheel, while a ribbon of reflective material is applied to the longer one. The shorter arm can form a bead, while the longer one tapers to a sharp outer edge.
