Abstract

Heat exchanger, partic. for incorporation in the pressure vessel of a nuclear reactor, comprises (a) a steam collector spaced from a feed water collector, by means of two tube plates connected by a series of longitudinal steam-producing tubes so as to form a fluid connection between the feed water and steam collectors or chambers; (b) a series of spacing grids arranged transversely in contact with the steam-producing tubes, with elastic lugs formed on the grids in such a way as to come into contact with the tube surfaces and limit their vibration; (c) a feed water tube traversing the steam chamber to establish fluid communication with the feed water chamber, and having an external concentric casing fixed to the tube plates.
