Abstract

The drinking glasses packaging unit (1) has a rear wall (2) with a fold line (3). The top of the rear wall has a fold line (6) and extends in a slanting manner to the rear wall bottom section. The bottom part of the rear wall is also connected via fold line (11) thus forming slanted bottom section (12). The top and bottom slanting parts have cut-outs (7,20) which accept the glass rim and bowl, and the foot of the glass. Resilient locking lips (24,27) enable the glass to be firmly secured against any movement once inserted. Adhesive fold joints at top and bottom complete the package.
