Abstract

The brush hinges in all directions by means of a thin wall portion, the hinge (4) joining holders (1, 3) for brush head and handle. The hinge is of elastic material, having an annular groove (5) accommodating the edge of the head (1), and an annular bead (7) fitting in a mating groove (8) in the handle holder (3). A U-section sleeve (9) joins grooved and beaded portions together, these being on the outer (11) and inner (10) arms of the U respectively.
