Abstract

The equipment secures a sun awning with cowl to a wall, comprising one ore more mounting brackets fixed to the wall and with protrusions engaging with others on the cowl. Each bracket has a clamp securing the cowl in position on it. The protrusions (15, 13) on bracket (9) and cowl (20) are so arranged that the cowl is thrust upwards by the clamping device (18) into the bracket. Each bracket can have a horizontal bottom supporting edge (16) extending forwards on which the lower edge of the cowl rests after the protrusions have been engaged together but before the cowl is thrust upwards by the clamping device.
