Abstract

The collector comprises a container, preferably cylindrical (1), with a flat baseplate (2) which can be slewed clear in its own plane and back again in relation to the container. The container is placed over the excreta with the base slewed clear on the ground and the base is then swung in below it. The base can be mounted on a slewing spindle (3) extending along the outside of the container, and with a lever (4) fixed to the top. Locking devices can be included, preferably of the snap type, to hold the base shut.
