Abstract

A pulse train is converted into a stepped sinewave by a circuit in which all the current paths are supplied from the same potential. The positive supply pole (+V) is connected via a resistor (6) to a shared node (9). The negative supply pole (0) is connected to a zero rail which can be switched through via switches (3I-3M) and resistors (4I-4M) to the shared node (9). The shared node is coupled via further resistors (4A-4H) and further switches (5A-5H) to the eight outputs of a frequency divider (2). The stepped sinewave appears at the shared node.
