Abstract

The dust exhaustion system is for use when loading lorries etc. with material in bulk, having a hopper with overhead outlet to which a downpipe is connected, leading to a discharge opening adjustable for height. An air exhaustion opening is adjustable with the discharge opening and is connected by a pipe to a dust-separation unit. The discharge (11) and exhaustion (12) openings are incorporated in a ceiling (7), adjustable for height, under the hopper, the length and breadth of this ceiling being greater than those of the body of the largest lorry to be loaded. In the direction in which the lorries travel underneath the hopper the two openings can be situated one behind the other.
