The lid and the flap are hinged to opposite long sides of the lower portion and are integral, each having interlocking lips (4, 6). The flap has lon gitudinal projection (4) parallel with the hinge line, which projection fits in a corresponding longitudinal recess (6) in the free side (7) of the lid when the box is closed. The projection and the recess are at least one third the length of the container.
