Abstract

The plastic crate comprises a bottom (1) and four side walls (2-5) with hand grip openings (6) in two opposite sides (2,4). At least one wall (2) has one identification element (8). A number of such elements may be combined in an identification block (7). The elements may be round or angular, or pref. rectangular, and may be hollow or solid. The elements which project outwards or inwards, may be arranged in a recessed portion of the wall. They are pref. arranged below a hand grip opening, and may be provided on opposite side walls. They may be secured by adhesive, welding or snap-in connection, or pref. during extrusion forming of the crate.
