Abstract
The device is used to convert low frequency electrical oscillations via a reactive transducer into acoustic vibrations. The transducer is part of a tuned vibration circuit. The oscillating circuit consists of a capacitor (1) which functions as a loud speaker. One side is connected to the centre tap (2) of a coil (3). The ends of the coil sections (4, 5) are connected to the loudspeaker via switches (6, 7). A l.f. oscillation approx. equal to the resonance frequency is fed to the circuit which will use electronic switches. The switches will operate in anti-phase and in synchronism with the resonant frequency at a number of instances when the energy content of the transducer is at zero. The high frequency oscillation is modulated by the l.f. oscillation.
