Abstract

The floating structure comprises a number of columns (2), a platform (3) supported by these columns, and buoyancy elements in and/or between the columns the buoyancy being adjustable by means of ballast (4). The structure is provided with one or more vertically adjustable columns (5) carrying a weight (6) at its/their lower end(s). The weight may be contained in a recess in, or between, the elements (1) when the column (5) is raised. The column (5) may be horizontally adjustable and/or may be adjustable at an angle to the vertical.
