Abstract

System mounts the frame of a sliding door in position on a doorway frame. The sliding door frame is of profiled sections, and is clamped to the sliding door so as to form a sealed joint with it. This assembly is erected in front of the doorway, and space between the sliding door frame and the doorway frame is filled with suitable adhesive foam material. After this, the clamps between the sliding door and its frame are released. The sliding door frame can be built up of profiled metal sections (4,7,8,9) joined to each other by corner plates (5,6).
