Abstract

The system waters the plants whenever they need it, this being determined by the temperature, humidity and sunlight in the greenhouse. The watering interval is determined by comparing the temperature of two detector components in the greenhouse (1), one of which (3) is so positioned that it is exposed to the same sunlight and watering as the plants themselves (2), while the other (4) is mounted in the shade, so that it is directly exposed to neither. Watering can take place whenever the temperature difference between the components increases to a predetermined value.
