Abstract

Supporting equipment for the vehicle is for use in overhead maintenance work, as a turntable ladder etc, having one or more pairs of supports, each comprising a girder housing and s supporting girder sliding in it between the stowed and working positions across the vehicle and at an angle to the vertical. A movable foot is mounted at the free end of the girder. Each foot plate (17) can be slid in its respective girder (15) sideways in relation to the vehicle (11). It can be attached to its girder by means of a pin (41) working in an elongated hole (37), whose lengthwise axis (T) slopes upwards in a direction across the vehicle.
