Abstract

The mould has a loose plastic base. A device limits the extent of the movement of the base into the mould. The cheese is discharged by inverting the mould and striking the base. By limiting the movement of the base the cheese is detached and the mould can be reused without manual resetting. The process can be continued entirely automatically.
