Abstract

The crate (1) is intended for storing and transporting bottles and is of the type provided with means (3) on the outside which permit a number of crates to be strapped together for transport e.g. on a pallet. The means are arranged on the radiused corners (2) in such a way that they do not protrude outside the basic rectangular plan view of which the sides (4, 5) are part. The means may consist of projections approximately half-way up the height of the create, and may be provided on all four corners of the crate. They may be integral with a crate made in plastic.
