Abstract

The light fitting has a supporting member (5) secured by screws (2) to a connection plate (1) on the ceiling and in this member a bar-shaped component (8) slides and rotates, equipped with means (11) for securing and connecting one or more bulbs etc. The supporting member can be formed by upper and lower plates with a cylindrical ring (6) in between them, this having two diametrically opposite recesses (7) accommodating the bar-shaped component. A spigot can be provided on the upper and lower plates for centering the ring, and the upper plate can be secured to the connection plate, and the lower plate to the upper one.
